Words seem to fail me as I try to express our heartfelt appreciation for how you made the Gala opening of the Gulden Community Center a memorable, even historic event. Thank you for making Twin Towers one of the many stops you make where people experience the uplifting message and spirit you ably bring. I am a firm believer that laughter is an important component of a healthy life, and could tell that you not only believe the same, but practice this "therapy" for your selft, and are a "missionary" for providing it to others. Mr. Linkletter was a pleasure to work with and eager to spend additional time meeting members and participating in Convention. His remarks to our members were truly inspiring, touching the audience on many levels. I can honestly say that Mr. Linkletter was the highlight of our four-day event; he exceeded our expectations in every way. What a joy it was to have you as the featured speaker at our 94th Anniversary Donors Banquet. Your legendary wit and charm made the evening very special, indeed. Thank you for the gift of laughter, poignancy and for touching hearts in such a unique, hope-filled way. You are an inspiration and encouragement to all of us at Star of Hope. I can’t begin to express what it meant to me to have you participate in our 30th Anniversary Celebration Saturday evening. It was an honor and a pleasure meeting you. Your warmth, sensitivity and grace had a positive impact on me as well as all those who attended the evening event, which truly made it a memorable occasion. You have such an innate ability to connect with your audience through your humor and skillful storytelling. You are a true inspiration and set an example for how to live life regardless of age.
